How much does skip bin hire cost?

What size Skip Bin do I need?

Do I need a permit for my skip bin hire in the Geelong region?

If your skip bin will be on private land there is no need to get a permit. If you plan to place the skip bin on public space a permit will be required.

What if I need to extend the length of hire time for my skip bin?

Just get in contact with our friendly team to arrange extending your hire period.

Can I place my skip bin anywhere?

Generally placing the skip bin in an easily accessibly place on private land is ideal. Avoid under eaves of homes and under any live power lines.

Can I specify a drop off and pick up time?

We work off set times however if you have particular requirements please chat to our friendly team and we will do our best to accommodate.

Can I put asbestos in the skip bin?

No. Asbestos cannot be placed in any of our bins.

What am I allowed to put in the skip bin?

Most items can be added with the exception of soil, chemicals, liquids, asbestos, paint and food waste. Tyres and car batteries can be added to the skip bins and Mattresses can be added but attract an additional fee ($30per mattress).

How full can i fill the skip bin?

You can fill the skip bin up to the clearly marked fill line indicated on the skip bin. Going over the fill mark may attract additional fees.

What if I overfill the skip bin?

There is a clearly marked fill line on each bin, if you fill above that line you may incur additional charges.

What if I need another bin?

This is called a changeover. We take the full one away and replace with an empty bin. There can be savings for doing this.

What if the bin gets damaged during my use?

Our bins are pretty hardy so they can take a lot of bumps and bangs, however if significant damage occurs please contact us on 5277 1007 to discuss.

Can I put the skip bin down my driveway?

Driveways are privately owned property so generally you can place a bin in a driveway. If you have a shared driveway, it is courteous to discuss with your neighbours that the driveway will be inaccessible whilst the bin is in place.

What can't I put in the skip bin?

Food waste – that goes in your standard wheelie bin. Not in your skip bin.

Nappies – for hygiene reasons we cannot accept skip bins that have used the bin to dispose of nappies.

Soil (additional fees may apply if soil is found to have been added to the skip bin.

Liquids such as paints, and chemicals.

What can I add to my skip bin?

Other than those listed on the Not Allowed list above, most items can be added to your skip bin. This includes clothing, car tyres and car batteries (standing face up in bin only).

There may be additional charges for some items that cost us more to dispose of such as mattresses ($30per mattress).
